Welcome to my brand-new website!

Hello!

I've been bursting to share what I've been working on, and there's been a lot happening! I wanted to wait until everything was ready before telling you all about it. Now, that moment has finally arrived!

I'm absolutely thrilled to unveil my brand-new website! It's been lovingly created to reflect my world of storytelling, and I can't wait for you to explore it.

The messy, marvellous reality of neurodiversity, but without labels.

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

As many of you know, I write picture books that celebrate the messy, marvellous reality of neurodiversity, but without labels.

I hope my stories help children know that they are enough exactly as they are. I hope they learn to see their differences as strengths to embrace. If a child finishes my book feeling understood and a little more confident in who they are, then I’ve achieved what I set out to do.

My Book Is Coming!

I’m beyond excited to share that my debut picture book, Get Lost, Zoomer! will be out in October 2026!

Zoomer is a lively, fast-moving squirrel in Moonbeam Forest, whose impulsive energy often causes chaos until it becomes exactly what’s needed to save the day. Get Lost, Zoomer! speaks to every child who has ever been told they are ‘too much’.

I know you will love Zoomer as much as I do. He is a fun-loving character with an infectious enthusiasm for life. Zoomer is for every child who has ever felt different, misunderstood, or like they don't quite fit in. Through his adventures, he shows that being unique is a strength and that friendship, acceptance, and belonging begin with embracing who you are.

Before the book comes out on 1 October, I'd love for you to visit my website and pre-order your copy.

Be among the very first to welcome Zoomer into your world.

Meet Jeff

Of course, I couldn't write a newsletter without mentioning Jeff, my faithful writing companion. Most writing days, he's curled up beside her desk, offering quiet company, timely walking breaks and occasional quality control (usually in exchange for treats).

An unofficial member of the creative team, Jeff is also a favourite with children, bringing warmth, calm, and plenty of tail wags wherever he goes.

Adventures & Inspiration

This year, I've been incredibly fortunate to travel to Bali and Koh Samui, Thailand. Every adventure fills my creative cup. I love discovering new places, meeting new people, and returning home inspired with fresh ideas for stories.

I've been writing constantly and have so many exciting projects in the pipeline, so stay tuned!

Thank you so much for being part of this journey with me. Your support means more than you know, and I can't wait to share all that's still to come.

With love,
Katina x
